Home for the weekend - winner. I'm not really sure what this whole look is about to be honest so I'll just tell you what I'm wearing. Leggings - River Island, jumper - Florida, necklace - H&M, hat - Spain and bag - Chanel.
I applogise for being a useless blogger at the moment - I am so busy all the time and the internet when I'm at uni is terrible. I promise to take some good photos soon.

Tuesday, 27 September 2011

Yes I have Bambi on my jumper - amazing. Nothing else needs to be said really... I also put a bird in my hair just to be a bit woodlandish. So my jumper and boots are from H&M and my shorts are from Miss Selfridge.
Please leave your comments because I love reading them.

Suited and Booted

I'm back in Galashiels where it takes 3 hours to upload a photo. This is what I wore to a 'Suited and Booted' party last night. It was so much fun but I got a little bit tipsy, today I'm definitely not looking my best so am not doing an outfit post for today.
I was wering dress and necklace - H&M, boots - New Look and leather jacket - Oakwood at Jane Davidson.

Saturday, 24 September 2011

This is my new space skirt - I love it, and yep that's a cheeky slit up the side. Im wearing it with leather jacket - Oakwood at Jane Davidson, top and belt- Dorothy Perkins, bag and rings - H&M. The skirt is from my new favourite online shop - pretaportobello.
Hope you are all having a good weekend.

World's Worst Blogger

I am the world's worst blogger, sorry! I hardly blogged about LFW at all - It was amazing but exhausting because I was working so hard. A brilliant, brilliant experience though and would recommend that you all go. So whilst I was there I was a bit too busy to blog.
On my return from London I went back to uni and left my camera cable in Edinburgh so that's why I haven't posted since I got back. But I should be back on track now so don't worry.
Today I'm wearing sequin trousers - Topshop, jumper - DVF and a vintage head scarf.
I'm trying the different textures trend today with my sequin trousers and angora jumper, I'm not sure how I feel about this combo...

Sunday at Fashion Week

This is what I wore to fashion week today and a wee taster of what other people have been wearing. I'm a little bit exhausted tonight so can't think of a lot else to say! Except I'm very excited because it's the designer's party tomorrow - I will hopefully get some great photos of outfits.
I'm wearing skirt - Zara, top - Topshop, hat and boots - ASOS, socks - Dorothy Perkins and jewellery - Yunus and Eliza.

Fashion Week

London Fashion Week is tiring! So I apologise for the slightly tired looking photos. So far though it has been an amazing experience, I have met some amazing people and designers, seen some of the craziest outfits ever (I promise I will get photos of some of them) and I've just been having so much fun. I'm so tired when I get home though which is why I didn't post yesterday.
Yunus and Eliza are launching their S/S '12 collection at Paris Fashion week so I am showing this installation for them at London. I'm wearing some of their jewellery in today's photos. I'm also wearing.. boots - New Look, velvet leggings - Topshop and top - River Island.

London London London

I've been here only a day and already London has nearly killed me. I walked everywhere today so my feet are very sore, I couldn't face putting my shoes back on, standing up or smiling in these photos because I'm so tired!
I've had a brilliant day I went to almost everywhere on my list, including the Nation Portrait Gallery, Topshop on Oxford Street and Dover Street Market. Dover Street Market is the coolest shop I have ever been in! It stocks a lot of different designers which are all quirky in their own way. However it's not the clothes, shoes or jewellery which makes this shop amazing, it's the way its displayed. There is a giant boat in the middle of one floor, animal skulls on another and there is even a vending machine with
t-shirts in it.
T-shirt - River Island, dress - New Look, (evil) boots and hat - ASOS and bag - Hermes.

London Fashion Week Starts NOW

So I've arrived in London with no map, no idea where I'm going and no sense of direction. I do however have these fabulous boots and some ambition. I'm ambitious in the sense of having a list of around 10 places dotted all over the city that I'd like to visit tomorrow at the same time as taking photos of people for a street style project I'm doing. We'll see how it goes.
Today I'm wearing, jeans - J Brand at Jane davidson, tee - H&M, shirt - River Island and boooots - New Look.
On the train today I was reading some magazines and I have to ask if anyone else is sick of seeing these dresses? It seems they have been in every single magazine over the last few months and although I think they are great dresses, I am bored of them.
Please leave your thoughts and comments because I love reading them.

Falling in the Bath is Dangerous

Yeeeeeah buddy I have business cards! I feel so grown up. I got them because tomorrow I am going to work in London but at the same time I have to do a street fashion project for uni. I thought it was important to have something to give people so that they didn't think I was just a creep taking photos of them and of course to hype up ye old blog.
I'm back at home tonight and I'm going to see the Legally Blonde musical - very very excited. I wanted to wear something pink and sparkly to see Legally Blonde (obviously) but didn't want to look too fancy so have casualled it up.
Jeans - J Brand at Jane Davidson, sequin top and cardigan - charity shop.

Today it has taken me 3 hours to upload this photo. If you don't know Galashiels, which I imagine most of you don't, it's a tiny town in the Scottish borders. This is where I go to uni and where I live for half of the week. The internet as well as half of the appliances in our flat don't work. I've been back a day and am already showing signs of cabin fever, please send help.
Shirt - River Island, skirt - FCUK and shoes and earrings are from H&M.
This is a plant we bought to try and cheer the place up, it might look like a hospital though...

I've had a really busy last couple of days. On Friday I drove down to London and back for an interview with Yunus and Eliza - I got the job and will be working at their space at Somerset House in London Fashion Week. Their jewellery is 'Sculpture to be worn' and I am completely in love with it all. London Fashion Week starts on Thursday and I am planning to take hundreds of photos to show you.
Then yesterday I was modelling for a bag company, I will get photos up as soon as I can of the shoot.
Today I moved into my new flat in Galashiels, this is where I go to Uni. I start back at Uni tomorrow morning and am still not really ready, finishing my summer project as I type!
Anyway, down to business...wrap - H&M, top - River Island, jeans - Zara, belt - Dorothy Perkins and shoes - Office. These are my favourite colours at the moment and I love wearing them all at the same time.
I must go and finish my project now, hope you all had a good weekend!

Lucky Lucky Lucky

I got the job for London Fashion Week! Saw the Corrinne Day and Showstudio exhibitions. Modelled in a photo shoot today and then went to work and had a brilliant sale.
So having a little bit of luck at the moment.
Going out tonight so will let you know all the chat tomorrow.

Horses and Blue

Today I got my bum in gear and started doing my holiday project because after today I am crazy busy until I go back to uni on Monday. So I am trying to fit a whole summers worth of work into a day.
I took a break from cutting and sticking to take these photos with my new camera remote after the disaster of the last one!
I'm wearing, horse t-shirt - H&M, belt - Dorothy Perkins, trousers - ASOS and the horse bag is from Urban Outfitters.
Tomorrow I am getting up at 6am for an interview in London at 2pm and then flying back up the road. But hopefully I will find the time to take a cheeky wee London outfit photo and get in online. I also am hoping to get a chance to see the Corrine Day - Face exhibition that is going on in London at the moment.
Leave your thoughts.

Today I went shopping in Glasgow, and while I was sitting reading Nylon in Hollister (waiting for my friend who was in the fitting rooms) the manager came up to me and offered me a job! I am not joking although I did find it hilarious.
So this is what I was wearing when the said offer happened, I didn't think I was rocking the Hollister look but there you go.
Todays look top - Topshop, shorts - River Island, jacket - J Crew, belt - Dorothy Perkins and bag - Accessorize.
I have a job interview on Friday for a job in London Fashion Week, I'm a wee bit nervous but will tell you all the chat later.
Please leave your comments, I read every single one.

Just Casual...

Thank you for all of the lovely comments yesterday and hello new followers! I'm not sure why I haven't taken photos here before, this spot is 2 minutes from my house. So seeing as everyone liked the backdrop yesterday I thought I would use it again.
I went to Ikea today to pick up some things I needed for going back to uni but other that haven't done much today - it's been amazing.
Today I'm wearing...t-shirt and trousers - Topshop (Feeling a wee bit conscious that my stomach is out today!), bag - Zara, boots and earrings - H&M and hat is from a little shop in Spain.
Please leave your comments.

One of the Boys.

I went out with my friends from school last night, and it turns out that most of them are boys. So today I thought I'd try that mannish tailoring trend thats kicking about. I kind of like it! I couldn't find my hat or briefcase though so will no doubt do a similar outfit soon which includes both the hat and briefcase.
Shirt - H&M, waistcoat - Dorothy Perkins, trousers - Zara and I borrowed the tie off my dad.
Now bad luck strikes in 3s and today all 3 bad things happened to me while I was taking these photos.
1. I was hungover. (Vodka, Gin and lemonade is not a tasty cocktail like I thought it would be.)
2. I got stung by nettles all down my arm.
3. I dropped my new best friend, my wireless camera remote, in the river.
So now am having deja vu while I order my second wireless remote of the week. I feel quite exposed when I am out taking photos of myself, people who are walking by stop and look at you funny.
Blogger has done something funny to the bottom of my second image but I'm just going to go with it.
Hope you're having a good weekend and please leave your comments because I love reading them.

Work Day

Work today, out tonight. This is what I wore to work, dress - River Island, t-shirt - Gap, Belt - Dorothy Perkins and Bag - Accessorize.
Today I got a new phone (finally!), it's a pretty old school Nokia with buttons. I LOVE it, I can't work anything with touch screen or the internet. It's a pet hate of mine when people sit and play on their phone all the time.
I look like I have a bit of a double chin in these photos... yum.
I keep forgetting to say, but please vote for my blog for the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards - New Fashion Blog section. There is a link at the bottom of my blog. Thank you!
Time to shine my dancing shoes. Have a good night everyone!

Oh hello fashion show photos

My new toy arrived in the post today, a wireless clicker thing for my camera which means I can now take photos of myself properly (much to my sisters relief!)
I have no idea how the last photo happened but I love it!
So today I'm wearing jacket - H&M, t-shirt - Zara, leggings - River Island and boots - ASOS.
Now I have a very important question - do these leggings look ok? I've always liked wet look leggings on other people but have never been brave enough, until now, to get my own. Let me know what you think.

I finally have photos from the fashion show I did on Wednesday!! This is photos of the Jane Davidson showcase event in the Scotish National Galleries. There were a lot more outfits than this but I've picked a few of my favourites to show you.

Both of the looks above are Diane Von Furstenberg (Love the bag)

These next 2 looks are M Missoni. The cuff dress is a favourite of mine.

And here we have Pringle of Scotland.

The next 2 looks are Erdem. The first one is a dress and mac, the inspiration for the print is from Monet's waterlilies painting.

On to Dries van Noten, a new collection for us. I really love the top in the second photo with the sequin sleeve.

This is Clements Riberio styled with Wolford tights as they did for their runway show.

Now don't be fooled, this might look like a Jenny Packham but this stunning sequin gown is actually by David Meister.

Closing the show we have Jenny Packham (The Kate Middleton dresses). These dresses really speak for themselves. Stunning.

I'm glad I could finally show you all what I do at work! I love working at the shop most of the time but it is just amazing when we get to do events like these, despite all the hard work that goes into them they are so much fun.
